Carbis Bay Hotel
This five-star luxury hotel and spa won the Muddy Stilettos best hotel in Cornwall award in 2024. It prides itself on its fine food, excellent service and breathtaking views across one of the world’s most beautiful bays.
The hotel approached us to do a complete lighting design for the venue to design a luxurious but welcoming feeling.
A key part of the specification was the outside pool area to create a stunning overall appearance where guests can relax on warm summer evenings. Our design clearly defines the pool area which is supplemented by feature lighting picking out individual points of interest for added drama.
Safety is vital as the evening closes in, so there is subtle step lighting and downlights clearly marking out passages to direct guests where they need to go and to also add to the overall appearance.
As it gets cooler guests can step indoors into a soft relaxing feel of the furnishing and warm wooden flooring. Our design complements this with our unobtrusive spotlights in the ceiling and LED strip lights that add interest under worktops and alcoves.
